You don’t need to have experience with art to do Art Therapy Creative Journey for Women
This group will provide you with an opportunity to explore your inner world via the art process. Directives will be given to offer you a place to investigate, play, and portray the aspects that encompass you, in a safe and confidential environment.
Art Therapy is based on the idea that the creative process of art making is healing and life enhancing. It helps to promote awareness, support creative choice and encourage responsibility in one’s effort to realise a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Facilitator: Art Therapist Jane Joske (AThR)
Jane Joske B.A. (Media Studies) Dip Ed. MA (ATh) has several years of experience working with children in a teaching capacity, working in both government and independent schools. She has recently embarked on her journey as an art therapist and has worked with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Jane currently works in arts education with adults who have a disability. She enjoys all aspects of engagement with the visual and performing arts and on a personal level is particularly interested in painting. Jane is a registered professional member of ANZATA (The Australian and New Zealand Art Therapy Association).
