RESOURCING, REGULATION & RESILIENCE

Focusing is a special way of paying attention to yourself, so that you sense the whole way you are feeling about situations or issues in your life. This is different from just having emotions or just getting in touch with feelings. Focusing involves having a different kind of relationship with emotions and feelings. It’s as if you are becoming your own good listener. The result is greater calm, wiser choices, and a deeper sense of connection to your own life and being.

This gentle 1 day workshop will guide you through focusing practice and art making to enhance both deep listening and expression, with the aim of tapping into your own resources and build resilience.

TESTIMONIALS FROM PREVIOUS SOLD OUT WORKSHOPS

"A big thank you to both of you ladies for a wonderful day on Saturday.   The sessions were remarkably insightful and healing.  I feel a sense of lightness in body and spirit that has eluded me since the trauma I experienced earlier this year.

I can’t thank the two of you enough.

With much gratitude," Susie Nov 2018

" It was really lovely and in such a beautiful setting too.

Both personally and professionally it helped me centre me more and take time.

...I have been trying to reconnect with my Creative Spark!  Well  I believe I touched and connected with that on Saturday.

So thank you to both of you." J May 2019

About the facilitators:

JO KENNEDY

After a 25 year meditation practice I was deeply moved when I discovered Focusing. What I had been yearning for had been there all along; what the meditation teachers had been talking about was suddenly accessible. I was offered the  missing link.  Focusing is a profound form of deep listening, it has enriched my life, shown me how to build strength in my cancer recovery and given me access to an ongoing source of creativity and healing. Learning to listen into this deep, more bodily knowing has given me the gift of myself.
