Robyn de Vries (AThR, M.A.C.A. L4) is a highly experienced Art Therapist, Supervisor, Educator and Facilitator with more than 20 years’ experience across private practice, community services and education settings.

 

Throughout her career, Robyn has worked with a diverse range of individuals and groups, including people experiencing disability, mental health challenges, addiction, neurodivergence, ie autism, ADHD, gender affirming care, family violence, cancer and palliative care, aged care needs, and children and adolescents. She also facilitates corporate wellbeing, team development, training and educational programs.

 

Robyn brings a rich interdisciplinary background to her supervision practice. She has curated exhibitions, served on the faculty of the School of Life Melbourne, and facilitated Art as Therapy tours at the National Gallery of Victoria. She also lectured in Art Therapy at the Ikon Institute for five years.

 

Her qualifications include a Master of Art Therapy from La Trobe University, a Diploma of Gestalt Therapy, a Master of Public Art, a Bachelor of Media Arts, and an Advanced Certificate in Art and Design.

 

Robyn offers both art-based and non-art-based supervision and is available for online supervision sessions. She is trained in Existential Supervision, having completed Wheel of Supervision I & II through the Centre for Existential Practice.

 

Her supervision style is reflective, collaborative and grounded in extensive clinical, creative and educational experience, supporting practitioners to deepen insight, strengthen professional practice and sustain meaningful work.

This group is for psychotherapists from any discipline. 

It will be a relaxed group where art making is offered in each session and each person will have the opportunity to discuss their work and issues impacting their work.

New graduates up to highly experienced therapists welcome.   

Individual Supervision sessions on line or in person are also available. 

(we offer a discount for current students and recent graduates)
